Moses,
“During an earlier visit to the Akwa Ibom State Government by the burial committee, Gov. Godswill Akpabio donated money for the burial”. – Moses Edem
NOTE: It was NOT Christy Essien Igbokwe burial committee that visited Akpabio, it was PMAN and they were NOT representing Christy Essien Igbokwe family.
Your post is nothing but LIEs. Please spare this family your tantrums. Late Chief Igbokwe deceives some respect.
Everybody knows Akpabio is restlessly looking for anything that can blur the weight of crimes he has committed in the state. He wants people to see him in good light while using people like you to commit crimes.
In case you were not properly briefed, Mr. Bisi Olatilo, Onyeka Onwenu, Former PMAN president, Mr. Tony Okoroji paid Godwill Akpabio courtesy visit NOT Igbokwe’s family. I think he presented a cheque of about N10 million (Not sure) to Mr. Tony Okoroji for Christy Essien Igbokwe Endowment Charity Fund.
Off the top of my head, Bisi Olatilo clearly stated that they were NOT representing Late Chief Essien Igbokwe’s family.
ALSO NOTE: whatever money Akpabio donated was not for the late musical ICON’s burial or family. Its for whatever show/project PMAN is planning to arrange in honor of Late Chief Essien Igbokwe and other governors have donated too.
So, finally Akpabio summed up courage to pay the family a visit after how many weeks. Other governors including Fashola of Lagos state did that and has been visiting the family right from when the news broke out. Is he not ashamed of himself that he was in Lagos when the woman passed on, while other governors trooped in to console the family he returned to AKS without even a condolence message on his behalf to the family.
SHAME! SHAME!! SHAME!!! Mr. Godswill Akpabio.
